5:30 - dusk

Challenge your friends! With assistance from staff at the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Cross Country & Biathlon Center, attendees will shoot an Olympic target (5x) in the prone position, just like Biathletes, no skis require.

Josie's Cabin
5:30 - 7:00, buses take you up and back

Named after Josephine Schofield, the cabin honors the spirit of Adirondack hospitality and Josie's role in creating a gateway for generations to experience the wonderful Adirondack forest. Come up to the cabin where you can enjoy a warm campfire, s'mores, and a beverage.

New This Year - Jammin' at Josie's

Acoustic guitars, a keyboard, and PA system will be available for anyone to use, but feel free to bring your own instrument: harmonicas, banjos, bagpipes, sitars - anything is welcome! Play, sing or enjoy the view and the mad skills of your SUNY colleagues.

  • For planning purposes, please contact Kevin Stillman at Kevin.Stillman@suny.edu or Peter Houghton at houghtpj@sunysccc.edu. Let them know if you would like to participate, if you will bring your own instrument or if you will use one that's being provided.

Top off your evening on the mountain with an Adirondack barbeque and live music by the Hudson River Music Hall House Band.
