During Monday night’s Welcome Reception at the Crowne Plaza, join in a casual acoustic session around the outdoor fire pit. Anyone who cares to should bring their acoustic guitar, banjo, ukulele, or just sing.
During Wednesday night's dinner event at Whiteface there will be an opportunity for musically inclined STC attendees and exhibitors to meet and play in a breathtaking Adirondack setting. Josie's Cabin, part of the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Cross Country Ski Center, is a woodland retreat built to honor the spirit of Henry Van Hoevenberg and Josephine Schofield. Acoustic guitars, a keyboard, and PA system will be available for anyone to use, but feel free to bring your own instrument: harmonicas, banjos, bagpipes, sitars - anything is welcome! If you aren’t playing or singing sit back and enjoy the view and the mad skills of your SUNY colleagues and partners.
Let them know if you would like to participate, if you will bring your own instrument or if you will use one that's being provided.
