Have you ever wondered what hackers and pentesters do in their free time to learn new topics, hone their skills, and have fun doing it? Well now you can be a part of it! The STC Capture the Flag competition, or STCCTF, is a jeopardy-style learning competition that gives STC attendees the opportunity to solve technical puzzles during the conference.
The competition will be held from Tuesday, June 9 @ 9:30 AM and run for 48 hours until Thursday, June 11 @ 9:30 AM, during which participants can use their laptop to uncover and submit flags to compete for the top spot on the scoreboard. This is a beginner-friendly competition with some slightly harder challenges available for those who want a harder test of their skills. While a Linux VM, WSL, or other Linux command line interface tool might be helpful for some of the challenges, it is not required to compete.
The registration code for the STCCTF can be found posted throughout the conference and in the conference program.
